ERNEST I. & EURICE MILLER BASS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
On June 11, 1969, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest I. Bass, Dallas, Texas, created this scholarship fund in order to aid high school graduates in securing a four-year college education. The fund is administered by HighGround Advisors (formerly Baptist Foundation of Texas), a Texas nonprofit corporation located in Dallas, Texas.
Scholarship recipients must (1) be pursuing studies at schools and colleges owned, controlled or supervised by state or area religious conventions cooperating with the Southern Baptist Convention or its successors; and (2) maintain at least a minimum passing cumulative grade point average and be enrolled full-time (at least 12 hours).
Scholarship awards are based on economic necessity and academic performance. Past awards are no guaranty of future awards. The Trustee (HighGround Advisors) has the right, set forth by the Trust, to establish procedures, qualifications, and standards, and to alter the same as the need arises. All decisions of the Trustee shall be final and binding. Applicants must maintain at least an average passing grade with preference given to students with the highest GPAs. Any recipient dismissed from an institution for disciplinary reasons shall be ineligible for further aid. Recipients shall not engage in gambling, or in drug abuse, or be frequent users of alcoholic beverages.

For applicants who have not yet attended college: Have your high school send an official transcript directly to HighGround Advisors. Be sure that it arrives before the relevant application deadline. For applicants who have attended college: When it becomes available, have your institution send the most recent official copy of your transcript directly to HighGround Advisors.

Fall Term: July 15
Spring Term: January 15
SUMMER SCHOLARSHIPS ARE NOT GRANTED.
Late applications are ineligible.
A new application is required for each semester.
Please do not attach photographs or third-party recommendations with the application.
