Katie Warren

Director of Philanthropic Engagement & Strategy

As Director of Philanthropic Engagement & Strategy, Katie helps individuals and families maximize their charitable impact. An advocate of thoughtful generosity, Katie promotes HighGround’s giving services and manages the operation and growth of HighGround’s stewardship programs, including the Donor-Advised Fund Program. In her role, she also speaks at conferences and equips nonprofit staff and financial advisors to have meaningful charitable giving conversations with their donors and clients.

Katie joined HighGround in 2020 and previously served in a communications capacity. She has over a decade of experience in marketing strategy, copywriting, and relationship management within the financial services industry. She previously worked at PKF Texas, a CPA firm, where her responsibilities also included recruiting and employee engagement.

Katie graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a BBA in marketing and is a member of the national and Dallas chapters of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
